Beginning his professional career as a stockbroker, Chip Egbert built and managed a $20 billion book of businesses. After six years he transitioned to the insurance industry, working as an account executive for Federated Insurance. When the Michigan Association of Homebuilders called and offered Chip the position of COO, he accepted and spent the next two years managing the group’s 12,000-plus-member insurance program and its $1.5 million budget. In 2006 Chip took an equity/ownership opportunity that allowed him to establish and build the ARA Insurance Agency in Florida.
But the place his extended family has long called home lured Chip, his wife, and children back to Michigan. Now at the Duke Company, he brings the same work ethic, focus, and determination that have repeatedly enabled him to exceed sales and service standards in both the financial and insurance industries. Chip specializes in user and investment property in the Troy, Rochester, and Rochester Hills markets and is pursuing his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
