Downtown Northville Building Returns to Its Roots

The Thomas Duke Company is pleased to announce the successful re-tenanting of 250 North Center Street — a standout 2,160-square-foot building in the heart of downtown Northville.

Originally built as a bank and most recently home to a restaurant, this landmark property is returning to its roots. Huron Valley State Bank has signed a new 10-year lease and is undertaking a full renovation to restore the space as a modern, full-service banking location.

The timing couldn’t be better. Northville is in the middle of one of the most significant growth periods in its history. The former Northville Downs racetrack is being transformed into a high-end mixed-use community. The Downtown Development Authority is investing $3.3 million in a multi-year makeover that includes a reimagined Town Square, a new fountain, Main Street resurfacing, and a pedestrian connection linking downtown directly to the Downs. Just beyond the city limits, the 800-acre Michigan International Technology Center is bringing tech companies, retail, and new housing to the former Northville-Plymouth prison site.

Huron Valley State Bank has deep roots in Northville, Plymouth, and the surrounding communities, and this new downtown location only reinforces that commitment. For a community bank looking to grow closer to the clients it serves, there’s no better moment — or market.
