Even before officially joining the company, interior designer Lauren Pierce felt part of the Thomas Duke team. For more than ten years she collaborated with us as an employee of a private architectural and design firm. Now a member of our management team, she uses her design artistry to create spaces in our buildings that tenants find both highly functional and inspiring.
Whether it’s designing a corporate headquarters or a café, Lauren can take a project from initial concepts and technical drawings to final installation of fixtures and finishes. She knows how to communicate well with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that every detail of a project delivers a space that fully engages the people working in it.
“The projects with big budgets and extravagant or unique designs are impressive, of course,” Lauren says. “But what I find most satisfying about any size project is making a strong connection with the clients, feeling their support, and seeing them productive, happy, and at home in a beautiful new space.”
