A Shifting Market – Dearborn Market Update

It has been a robust year for commercial property sales in the Dearborn/Dearborn Heights area.  In the past 6 months, 54 buildings have sold with an average sales price of $128.00 per square foot.  However, that is down from the prior 6 months with 72 buildings sold with an average price per square foot of $136.00.  We can attribute this slow down to rising interest rates and evolving economic conditions.  Despite the recent headwinds faced, we were able to complete a number of these notable transactions in the Dearborn/Dearborn Heights area this past year, some of them are:

  • 13,500 SF Office Building in West Dearborn
  • 9,000 SF Medical Building in East Dearborn
  • Net Leased Aaron’s Rental in Dearborn Heights
  • 26 Unit Apartment Building in Dearborn (Under Contract)
