Frank Rakipi negotiates the sale of the Shooter’s Service Building in Livonia, Michigan.

When the owners of a long-standing business decided to sell their building, they called on a trusted name: Frank Rakipi of the Thomas Duke Company.

The 14,480 square-foot building is home to Shooter’s Service, a firearm sales and service store and an archery range. Frank recognized that the unique combination of retail space and warehouse would attachmentprove to be a strong selling point, since it’s a property type that is in limited supply. A targeted marketing campaign was implemented that attracted many interested buyers. The activity resulted in a sale to a “move-up” buyer–a growing restoration company located in a neighboring community that saw an opportunity to move up to a larger building with increased visibility.
