Polished and Prepared

Sometimes gems need a little refining before their value is apparent. That’s when a professional’s eye and expertise are essential to making a sale.

When the owner of the Glassworks glass-blowing studio approached Steven Valli about selling her building, he saw a gem. Demand for office and retail space in Plymouth is hot with very little inventory, and this property at 543 Deer Street is in a high-visibility location near downtown and Kellogg Park, with many national franchises and local businesses close by. Its 3,200 square feet of unique space include an office, retail showroom, and glassblowing studio. Plus the building has dedicated parking.

But Steve also saw that the property needed refining. He coached the owner on how to prepare the building—stripping it of all its glass-blowing infrastructure and inventory—to attract a wider market and draw the price she hoped for.

Polished and prepared, the building quickly had a cash buyer who signed a purchase agreement just six weeks after its listing.
